The Astronomical Society of the South West (Inc) will hold open astronomy nights for the public at their Observatory in College Grove, Bunbury, during the Australia Day long weekend of the January 2019 school holidays.

The Observatory will be open on Friday 25^th, Saturday 26^th, Sunday 27^th and Monday 28^th of January, each night from 8:00pm to 10:30pm, weather permitting.

This is a great time to view the planet Mars and deep sky objects such as nebula, open clusters and globular clusters. There will be a range of club and member telescopes available, plus the large 20" telescope under the dome.
