Do you have a telescope but aren't sure how to use it? Would you like a few tips on how to get the most out of it? Maybe thinking about buying one but aren't sure what type to get? The ASSW will be hosting a BYO Telescope night for anyone with their own telescope, or thinking about getting one, or just interested in joining a group of amateur astronomers to learn more about the night sky. The club operates a large telescope in the Observatory in Bunbury, plus a range of portable scopes. In addition to Public Nights, we run viewing nights for members at the Observatory and at remote dark sites in the South West. Bookings are essential, contact the club at enquiries@assw.org.au Gold coin donation for tea/coffee. |
