posted Jun 26, 2018, 1:37 AM by Brian Raynor
July is a great time to view Mars!

The red planet has been getting brighter in our skies for the last few months and soon Mars will make its closest approach to Earth since 2002, and for next two months we will get the best views. Mars won't be so close again until 2035!

Jupiter and Saturn, the two largest planets in the solar system also recently made their closest approached to Earth and are well placed for great viewing.
