Our final BYO Telescope & New Members night for the season is coming up soon on the Friday, 15th March. We've had a great response to our previous BYO Telescope nights and have had to limit numbers, so please contact the ASSW at enquiries@assw.org.au to book your spot! If you have a telescope but aren't sure how to use it, or would you like a few tips on how to get the most out of it, this is for you. Or, Thinking about buying a telescope, but aren't sure what type to get, perhaps we can point you in the right direction. On the other hand, if you're just interested in Astronomy and would like to know more about what we do, and get involved in club activities, this would be an ideal time to come along. No telescope necessary! The club operates a large telescope in the Observatory in Bunbury, plus a range of portable scopes. In addition to Public Nights, we run viewing nights for members at the Observatory and at remote dark sites in the South West. Bookings for the night are essential, contact the club at enquiries@assw.org.au Gold coin donation for tea/coffee. |
